Think About It

The objective of this website is to get people interested and thinking about the problems that face our world, and how we can address them as humanbeings. We are all aware of the two great challenges that have held back the human potential since the dawn of our age: war and poverty. As daunting as they may seem, there is a practical, dare I say inevitable, solution to these problems.

The Solution

Through political and economic unification, war becomes impossible, and standard of living becomes equitable. Take the example of the European Union. Is war possible between France and Germany today? Of course not, because they share the same market, currency, parliament, and one day, president. Take the eastern European nations, once subjeted to devastating poverty under the Soviet thumb, are now some of the fastest growing economies in the world - thanks to Europe-wide market and continental legal harmonization. If you think about it, a continental-state only enhances the original benefits of the nation-state. Is the United States better off as 50 states or one union? Is Europe better off as 27 states or one union? In both cases, I believe the answer is clear.

A Call to Action

If you've taken the time to read this far, then maybe you are willing to go a little further. I call on you to talk to your family and friends about the potential of human unification. I challenge you to take an active role in the emergence of continental states, to fight for them. If you live in Africa, fight for a free and democratic African Union to unite your continent. If live in South America, organize support for the Union of South American Nations. No matter where you are, you can help by writing letters to your local representatives, and spreading the word to those that will listen to you.
