1. What's the point of this trip?

I'm calling this trip the rather grandious sounding "Global Fact-finding Mission", the objective being to collect some primary data on the progress and objectives of emerging continental-unions, by way of visiting their capitals, and speaking with those involved in the various administrations. The information gathered will be used to complete the book, which by popular demand, I am currently writing.

2. When is this "Global Fact-Finding Mission"?

The mission will take one year, beginning on October 21st, 2009; and concluding on October 1st, 2010.

3. What are the primary cities?

The primary destinations of the mission are the defacto capitals of the six emerging continental-unions:

• Brussels, Belgium: Headquarters of the European Union
  
• Jakarta, Indonesia: Secretariat of the ASEAN
  
• Kathmandu, Nepal: Headquarters of the SAARC
  
• Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: Headquarters of the GCC
  
• Addis Ababa. Ethiopia: Headquarters of the AU
  
• Quito, Ecuador: Headquarters of the USAN
  

4. Any secondary locations in mind?

The secondary destinations of the mission are areas that have special significance to emerging continental-unions:

• Grave of Robert Schuman in Saint Quentin church in Scy-Chazelles, near Metz, France
• Strasbourg, France: Location of the European Parliament
  
• Midrand, South Africa: Location of the Pan-African Parliament
